We offer week-long project based learning centered around STEAM for grades K-8. Each week will have a specific theme that each subject will focus on.
Pricing
Current LKA Families have the option to pay an early registration fee of $35 to hold their spot for a specific camp week, then pay the remaining $300 before that session's first day. Or, Current families can pay in full with a discounted price of $295.

Mythical Mashup: This week-long STEAM camp is an immersive journey into the fantastical world of myths and legends. Campers (grades K-8) will explore myths from around the globe, using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) to bring their own mythical creatures and stories to life. Through a combination of storytelling, hands-on activities, and creative problem-solving, campers will develop design thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Invention Convention: Transform everyday experiences into innovative solutions! This camp integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through hands-on activities that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration.
Time Travelers:
This week-long camp unit will take campers on a whirlwind adventure through time! Each day will focus on a different historical period, integrating lessons, activities, and projects that are both educational and engaging, with a focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) concepts.
Session 1 - 2 Weeks : $300 (Full Day) / $150 (Half Day)
Session 2 - 1 Week : $150 (Full Day) / $75 (Half Day)

Invention Convention:
Encourage creativity with science experiments, DIY projects, and the chance to invent something new.
Week # 2 June 24-28 (Mon-Fri)
Time Travelers:
Travel through different historical eras with themed crafts, historical reenactments, and visits to museums.
Week # 3 July 1-5 (Mon-Fri) *Thursday, July 4th off
STEAM:
Engage students in hands-on activities related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Offer robotics workshops, coding challenges, and science experiments to make learning fun and interactive.
*Attendance/Credit Recovery (2023-2024 9th graders) 7:30am - 12pm
Students who had 10 or more unexcused absences and failed Semester 1 and or 2 an academic class during the 23-24 school year must attend the academic sessions beginning at 7:30am to 12:00pm. 9th Grade will have credit recovery for English 1, Algebra 1 and Biology.

Parents must sign up either the 2 week Session 1, the 1 week Session 2, or both.
10-15 students per class in our summer sessions.
Students may come at 7:15 a.m. Sessions begin at 7:30 a.m., dismissal starts at 3:45 p.m. (all students picked up by 4:00 p.m).

We believe that dyslexics should be identified and given the education necessary to reach their full potential.
