Our Covington campus is more than a school—it’s a close-knit community. Located on the Northshore, LKA Covington serves students with dyslexia from across St. Tammany Parish and surrounding areas. While our facilities are designed to support specialized learning, it’s the strong sense of connection among students, families, and staff that truly sets us apart. LKA is Where Students with Dyslexia Grow
Grades 1 - 5
Every child’s journey is unique, and we’re here to support it. For parents of young children with dyslexia, our IMSLEC-accredited curriculum provides personalized reading and math instruction, including 90 minutes of daily reading with a language therapist. Along with academics, students enjoy wellness activities like yoga and nature walks, fostering a positive sense of self and belonging.
Grades 6 - 7
Middle school can be challenging, especially for students with dyslexia. Our curriculum builds confidence and curiosity through a dynamic STEAM program and wellness activities that foster community and teamwork. With small class sizes, tailored instruction, and strong support for both students and parents, we prepare students for success in high school. Your child will find a place to belong, grow, and thrive.

Clubs & Activities
Our after-school clubs give students the opportunity to explore interests and connect with peers. Clubs are designed to foster creativity, self-expression, and personal growth in a safe and encouraging environment. There's something for every student to roar about at LKA. A few of our current clubs are: STEM, Cooking Club, Running Club, 4-H, Pep Squad, and Student Leadership.
