Caddo Campus
Serving Families with Dyslexia in the Caddo Parish and surrounding areas. Grades 1st - 6th.
Our Shreveport campus is a purpose-built, tuition-free public charter school dedicated to serving students with dyslexia. Located in the Broadmoor neighborhood at the former Arthur Circle Elementary School, the campus opened in 2023 and currently serves grades 1 through 6, with plans to expand to 8th grade in the coming years
Students benefit from daily 90-minute specialized reading instruction in small groups of six or fewer, led by teachers trained through the IMSLEC-accredited Dyslexia Resource Center. The curriculum is evidence-based and tailored to meet the unique needs of dyslexic learners, fostering growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
Serving families across Caddo Parish and surrounding areas, LKA Caddo reflects our commitment to providing an exceptional learning environment where every detail supports our mission to help children thrive.

Hear Our Roar
Clubs & Activities
At LKA Caddo, we believe in nurturing both the heart and mind. Our Lions' Den Club empowers students to become ambassadors of kindness, leadership, and service. Whether they’re welcoming peers at morning carpool or organizing donation drives for local and national causes, these young leaders are making a meaningful impact beyond the classroom.
Our weekly Running Club promotes health, fitness, and teamwork, laying the foundation for our growing athletics program. As we expand to include 6th grade, students will have even more opportunities to shine through flag football, soccer, basketball, and cheerleading. Through every club and activity, we strive to inspire school pride, build confidence, and support personal growth in a positive, inclusive environment.

Parent Community
At LKA Caddo, families are an essential part of our community. Parents stay actively involved through school events, volunteer opportunities, and ongoing communication with educators. Together, we create a strong support system where every child—and every family—can thrive.
Reach their Full Potential
As a dyslexia specialized school, Louisiana Key Academy ensures that every child with dyslexia has access to exceptional educational resources—regardless of financial circumstances. Our expert educators receive ongoing training and certifications, providing students with the highest level of support in a caring, specialized environment. More than a school, LKA is a community of passionate teachers, dedicated parents, and resilient students working together to transform the future of dyslexia education and help every child thrive.
LKA has been a blessing for our family. Once my son was diagnosed with dyslexia, everything began to make sense. Now in his third year, he feels accepted, supported, and excited to go to school. The teachers focus on his strengths while helping him grow—and instead of tears at pickup, he can’t wait to share everything he’s learned."
