Our Ruston campus brings the proven LKA model to North Louisiana—offering the only public, tuition-free school in the region dedicated to students with dyslexia. Serving families from Lincoln Parish and surrounding areas, LKA Ruston provides a supportive, specialized environment where students can thrive.
Here, children receive 90 minutes of daily, evidence-based reading instruction in small groups of six or fewer. With dedicated educators, spacious classrooms, and outdoor learning spaces, every detail of the campus is designed to support students academically, socially, and emotionally. At LKA Ruston, we help children gain confidence, grow in their strengths, and love learning again.

Every child’s journey is unique, and we’re here to support it. For parents of young children with dyslexia, our IMSLEC-accredited curriculum provides personalized reading and math instruction, including 90 minutes of daily reading with a language therapist. Along with academics, students enjoy wellness activities like yoga and nature walks, fostering a positive sense of self and belonging.
